SUMMER CAMPS 2010  

SUMMER JAM I & II CAMPS
The camps focus on the development of all-around skills with unique teaching stations for offense, defense & rebounding. Players will work on shooting fundamentals, position work specific to guards, forwards, & posts, and play 1 on 1, 3 on 3, and 5 on 5 games. Shooting form and games are video-analyzed.

When: June 28-July 2, August 2-6, Monday-Friday
Time: 9 am - 3 pm
Location: Lincoln School , Providence
Players: Girls grades 3-12
Price: $225

CAMP FUNdamentals
The camp focuses on the basics of basketball - FUNDAMENTALS.  The camp is intended for young, serious players who want to learn to play basketball the correct way while having FUN. Proper dribbling, passing, and shooting techniques will be stressed as well as essential offensive concepts and strategies.  Defensive footwork, body movement, and positioning will be emphasized as well.  Use of smaller basketballs as well as lower baskets will be used for the youngest age group to ensure correct form.

When: July 5-9, Monday-Friday
Time: 9 am - 3 pm
Location: Lincoln School , Providence
Players: Boys & Girls grades 1-12

POINT GUARD/GUARD CLINIC
The clinic will focus on on all facets of point guard and guard play, including: running an offense, decision-making, how to be a team leader, penetrating to create for teammates, passing, intense ball-handling development, three-point shooting, and mid-range jump shots.

When: July 19-20, Monday-Tuesday
Time: 9 am - 3 pm

SHOOTING WORKSHOP
The Workshop provides specific instruction on all facets of the outside shot: body positioning, footwork, and the development of a quicker and higher release and longer shot range.  Drills will incorporate shooting off-the-catch, off-the-dribble, and teach players to create their own shot.  

When: July 21, Wednesday
Time: 9 am - 3 pm
Location: Lincoln School , Providence
Players: Girls grades 3-12

POST PLAYER CLINIC
The clinic will focus on developing post play, including: offensive post moves both back-the-basket and facing up, defensive positioning, and rebounding. 

When: July 22-23, Thursday-Friday

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS' ELITE CAMP
By invitation only - this camp is designed for college prospects.  Players will have the opportunity to work with the best local college coaches as well as compete against the highest regional competition.  Individual skill development and high-level offensive and defensive concepts will be the focal point.  Limited to 25 players, these three hour sessions will be intense and fast-paced. 

When: August 9-12, Monday-Friday
Time: 9 am - 12 pm
